I love how this powder by illamasqua smells like marshmallows, at least i’m pretty sure it’s marshmallows, tis something sugary and nommy anyway :3
I need an excuse to do this. Someone have a costume party or something.
Dramatic makeup is dramatic.
I can’t decide if I like this photo or not haha D:

I found this quote earlier and it speaks volumes. While I don’t necessarily agree that it’s everyones cup of tea or “best” by any means (everyone has their own preference at the end of the day), a lot of people don’t realise how in 80% of cases, a lot of makeup is involved to achieve that makeup free look they see in magazines or tv and preach about. We’re talking a combination/pick and mix of: foundation, concealer, mascara, powder, sometimes nude lipsticks and eyeshadows. Of course that doesn’t always apply and some people are that naturally beautiful, but it’s definitely the majority.
Everything here is all well and good, until said people start slagging off people for using more obvious makeup, claiming they prefer natural looking people and it drives me nuts.
Generally what the person means and needs to appreciate is that they prefer a natural makeup look.
Random babbling that I wanted to vent.
“It’s becoming who you are and not who you’re told to be.
Because beauty isn’t conformity, but the fundamental
human desire to express your inner self on the outside.
To rise above mainstream limitations and exist in a world
where individuality is received with celebration not derision,
and breaking the mould is a sign of strength not instability.”
Some of my Illamasqua freebies given to me by a beautiful and lovely friend. I have a glittery loose powder too but i set it somewhere and can’t remember! Silly short term memory. Now i just need to find a good excuse to use themmmmm.
The only annoying part is that i’ve had to blend it myself!
