The Game of Thrones exhibition was surreal!
I’ve never seen to something like that which was as well laid out as this one, maybe it helped that I went on a quiet day too though!
All in all I was super blown away by the sheer amount of things and the costume quality, full of little embroidery details that you don’t typically notice.
I also spent time afterwards thinking of things they didn’t have, which i’d like to have seen and I can come up with -
- Khal drogo related things, maybe a replica of his belt? Just something
- Jar of wildfire (i like green thingssss)
- Melisandre costume pieces
^ therefore they did really well, no doubt they even had those somewhere and i’ve forgot haha xD
Lots of cheques cashed, found this baby cheap and had a another great day in the cafe. Happyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! ^___________^
I can’t cope with the lack of new Game of Thrones episodesssss.
My Monday viewings used to break up the week nicely and gave me something to look forward to, but now they all seem endlesssssss. Please can you publish the next book already dammit??!!?!?!? D:
Need new people to follow, like this if you post/reblog anything I list here
- “dark/twisted/unusual” things
- history (particularly of the ancient variety)
- mythology
- art (of any form)
- literature
Or essentially if you even see this via the tags I referenced ;)
Anyone can be killed.
those eyessss, just look at them sizing each other up. I love both of these characters :3
Latest Game of Thrones ponderings that I need to vent…
I ship the Hound and Sansa so bad. Even more so in the books though, they aren’t giving his soft spot for her enough air time on the show.
What wouldn’t I do to give Joffrey a much earned slap, that scene with the whores actually made me flinch in the end. That speaks volumes for Jack Gleeson’s acting though, he does a fantastic job of bringing the character to life. Even so .. I can’t wait until he gets his comeuppance.
Still undecided on Brienne. If anything I don’t think she’s ugly enough as according to the written accounts.
Then on the other hand of the spectrum, Margaery Tyrell is so much more than the books, Natalie Dormer is perfect for this role, but then, anyone who can play Anne Boleyn so beautifully in The Tudors was always going to do this role justice. The upcoming Cersei/Margaery scenes will be whole new levels of wonderful.
Tyrion. Everything Tryion as per usual.
I could genuinely spend the rest of my life browsing Game of Thrones tags on tumblr and not get bored.
Anyone who knows me at all will know that I love a good villain/villainess, and because of that Cersei was inevitably going to be one of my favourite characters, throughout the novels her chapters gave me the most enjoyment (along with with Tyrion’s as you all could’ve guessed). Lena Headey’s on screen portrayal didn’t disappoint me either and I can’t wait to see the story lines play out.
All in all house Lannister actually ended up as my preferred house by default.
Game of Thrones catch up timeeee ^____^
Move out of the way Sansa, i’ll willingly and HAPPILY marry Tyrion, just putting that out there.
“A woman’s life is nine parts mess and one part magic, you’ll learn that soon enough…and the parts that look like magic often turn out to be the messiest of all.”
- Cersei
Bah, hurry up already season 2!
This reminds me that I need to rewatch the first season and fall in love with Tyrion all over again. Can’t for the new season; in particular i’m looking forward to seeing Natalie Dormer make her appearance as Margaery Tyrell, bring on the catfights with Cersei! ^O^
